Becoming a Mystery ShopperIntroductionThe Quality Marketing Institute was developed to provide retail managers with a tool that could effectively measure a store's performance. To accomplish this goal, we have developed a "Secret Shopping" program that has proven successes for over 14 years. But, to make our program work we need shoppers who can conduct themselves in a professional manner and keep gathered information confidential. We also need people who can carefully follow written and verbal instructions. Effective communication is the key to making our secret shopping program work. We are depending on you to be our eyes and ears in the businesses that you shop and to communicate that information timely and accurately. AssignmentsAssignments are typically arranged via email by a coordinator. All requirements will be explained to you at that point, including the pay for the shop and any cost to you. Shoppers are typically paid a flat fee for each shop. This fee varies with the complexity of the shop. Acceptance of the shop(s) will be considered your verbal agreement with The Quality Marketing Institute to complete the assignment. After accepting the assignment, you will receive written instructions and evaluation forms. If you cannot complete the assignment as agreed, we ask you to have the courtesy to call us before the deadline so we can reschedule. PaymentWe give our shoppers the opportunity to earn excellent pay for a small investment of time but we expect high quality reports. We reserve the right to return poor quality or inadequate shops to be redone. Payments are processed and mailed to the shopper on the 15th of the month following their shop.
